Location

Situated on the east side home for incredible sunrise views. On the main road in the village of Matavera. Recently renovated to a modern living space with outside deck and gardens with mountain views and beach access.

Muri beach and Muri markets only 3 km away
Best coffee on the island 2 doors away and KAPS a mini market and takeaway only 2 min walk.
Town is 10 min away by car or bike.

RATE ::::: NZ$140 PER NIGHT for 2 people — extra person is $30/n

Large fresh and cheerful open plan studio.

1 x King Splittable bed + 1 sofa bed.

Situated on the rugged coast line of Matavera the beach might not be the best for swimming but still a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of crashing waves.
Kitchen has all you might need from coffee, cold drinking water , tea sugar milk on arrival. Kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster ,kettle and all cooking utensils ,crockery and cutlery. Fresh herbs in the garden if you like some for garnish.
We also have “leave a little take a little “ practice, feel free to use it.
Enjoy your meals in the dinning area inside, on the deck or the garden or take your cuppa to the beach and enjoy a sunrise.
On our studio walls hang large drone prints of Tokerau Jim’s work of iconic places on the island.
For your entertainment on a rainy day there is a TV
Selection of books and magazines and board games.
Stainless Steel screen on the windows to keep mosquitoes out. The entire studio is air conditioned.

Other things to note

Beach Access— the beach is a rock and shell collectors paradise.— not suitable for swimming.

You may have guests in the studio next door so please be mindful of loud music or entertainment between 8pm - 8am

NOTE — We do require a screenshot of your tickets showing arr/dep dates/times to confirm your booking please.
Normal Check In Time is after 2pm and Check Out Time is before 10am — other times by arrangement only and will incur a small fee.
Being the tropics there will be ants around so please do not leave food out and sweep up crumbs
For your convenience, KAPS grocery store is just a few minutes away.
Charlies Bar/Cafe is 5km away for the best fish sandwiches on the island.
Muri is bursting with cafes and you can book a variety of tours from there also.
